Lists and Criteria
PROUTExecutives
- Out LGBT*IQ people from companies with > 500 employees and/or > 50 million € turnover per year
- Work in the private sector within Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- Are up to three levels below top-level management or, in smaller companies, on a comparable management level
- Have a high visibility in their company e.g. because of their position, their activities etc.
- Are committed to a LGBT*IQ-friendly work environment even beyond their everyday jobs
- The evaluation takes into account: seniority and visibility (size of the company, role, etc.) as well as internal and external commitment to LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace
PROUTinSMEs
- Out LGBT*IQ people from SMEs with ≤ 499 employees and ≤ 50 million € turnover per year (definition according to the Institut für Mittelstandsforschung Bonn)
If one of these values is exceeded, the nomination will be counted towards the PROUTExecutives list. - Work in the private sector or in other organisations (e.g. NGOs, foundations etc.) within Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- Are part of the top-level management or a comparable management level
- Have a high visibility in their company/organisation e.g. because of their position, their activities etc.
- Are committed to a LGBT*IQ-friendly work environment even beyond their everyday jobs
- The evaluation takes into account: seniority and visibility (size of the company, role, etc.) as well as internal and external commitment to LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace
PROUTVoices
- Out LGBT*IQ people working in Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- Work in the private sector
- Show an active commitment in their environment for LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at work, with the following or similar characteristics:
- Are a driving force for LGBT*IQ topics in their company or initiators of projects
- Act as a voice and/or representative for LGBT*IQ colleagues
- Work with decision-makers (HR, D&I, etc.) to promote the topic in their organization
- The evaluation takes into account: The internal and external commitment to LGBTI*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace.
PROUTExecutiveAllies
- Actively support LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace through projects, open communication or other initiatives in their organization – even beyond their everyday jobs
- Work in the private sector in Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- Are up to three levels below top-level management or, in smaller companies, on a comparable management level
- The evaluation takes into account: seniority and visibility (size of the company, role, etc.) as well as internal and external commitment to LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace
PROUTinMediaArtCulture
- Out LGBT*IQ people of the public life from media, art & culture, who are mainly active in German speaking countries
- Art and culture professionals (artists, singers, actors, etc.)
- Actively contribute to LGBT*IQ equality through projects, initiatives, events, etc.
- Bring considerable attention to the topic through their activities and reach a large group of people
- The evaluation is based on the following criteria: The internal and external commitment to LGBT*IQ equal opportunities and the public impact of projects and initiatives
PROUTinthePublicService
- Out LGBT*IQ people working in the public sector (Germany, Austria or Switzerland)
- Officials (Beamt_innen)
- Judges
- Soldiers
- Employees subject to the public service union agreement (Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst)
- Show an active commitment in their environment for LGBT*IQ equal opportunities at work, with the following or similar characteristics:
- Are a driving force for LGBT*IQ topics in their company or initiators of projects
- Act as a voice and/or representative for LGBT*IQ colleagues
- Work with decision-makers (HR, D&I, etc.) to promote the topic in their organization
- The evaluation takes into account: The internal and external commitment to LGBTI*IQ equal opportunities at the workplace.
PROUTPoliticians
- Out LGBT*IQ people who play an active part in German, Austrian or Swiss politics
- Are a driving force for the topic of LGBT*IQ equality, a voice and/or representative for LGBTIQ citizens
- Are committed to a LGBTIQ friendly environment in their area of influence, even beyond their everyday job
- The evaluation is based on the following criteria: The internal and external commitment to LGBT*IQ equal opportunities and the public impact of projects and initiatives
