Episode 1: Diversity under pressure? A spotlight from a corporate perspective

In the first episode, we talk to Carlotta Köster-Brons, Head of the Capital Office and National CSR Coordinator at Randstad. Diversity in companies is becoming a political issue because diversity is also increasingly becoming a topic of negotiation in society.

Episode 2: Queer Diversity: From Safer Spaces to Business Cases

In this first of two episodes with Albert Kehrer, co-founder and CEO of PROUT AT WORK, we focus on (queer) diversity and talk about how this topic has developed over the past decades. Albert tells us about the role queer employee networks play in not only recognizing diversity in companies, but also strategically managing it. Among other things, we ask Albert what impact external conditions such as changes in legislation have had and continue to have on queer people in the workplace, and learn what levers need to be used to credibly advocate for diversity.

Episode 3: Queer Diversity: Continuity & Resilience

We sat down once again with Albert Kehrer, board member and co-founder of PROUT AT WORK, to continue our conversation from the last episode. In this episode, we learn that the history of queer diversity in a corporate context is just as much a story of continuous commitment and resilience as queer history in general. We also learn how PROUT AT WORK was founded and talk about our board member, colleague, and friend Jean-Luc Vey, who passed away in 2024 to our great sorrow. May he rest in peace!

Episode 4: Diversity remains in flux: Radical empathy and the courage to feel

We talk to Magdalena Rogl, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at Microsoft, currently on sabbatical, about a conservative rollback that is also affecting the world of work. In this episode, you can hear what radical empathy and dealing honestly with feelings have to do with this, and why we can still be courageous even in these times.

Episode 5: Beyond Buzzwords: Corporate Values and Diversity

We are living—at least that is how it feels for many people—in a time when attitudes, opinions, and viewpoints are becoming increasingly entrenched, making it difficult to engage in constructive dialogue with one another. That is why we want to talk about values. Values that unite us… but which may not always coincide and need to be renegotiated from time to time. What purpose do established and, where applicable, binding corporate values serve internally and at the societal level? With: Frank Münze, Head of Talent & EDI&B at Randstad.

Episode 6: Queer rights and (political) discourse

With Nyke Slawik, Member of the German Bundestag and spokesperson for queer politics for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen parliamentary group, we welcome a political expert from the heart of our democratic state: the Bundestag. We talk to her about the protection of queer rights under the Basic Law, the Self-Determination Act, and how gender diversity in particular is rapidly becoming a topic of political negotiation.
