Since 2018, our LGBT*IQ Awards have been recognising particularly committed and influential company networks. These awards express our appreciation and respect – for people who give weight, a face and a voice to the interests of LGBT*IQ in the workplace.

Big impact initiative award
The award in the “Big Impact Initiative” category goes to a network that has demonstrated particular initiative in working towards a connected, open and egalitarian work environment for everyone in the previous year – independent of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Rising Star award
The “Rising Star” category awards newly founded or young networks that will shape the future. These networks position themselves optimally, use their resources efficiently and work closely with both diversity and corporate management. The road for successful networking has been paved and the way ahead is clear.

The “Global Leader Network” category focuses on established networks in major companies whose activities reach beyond national borders. Implementing a largely unified and global strategy requires perseverance, lots of heart and great teamwork. This category therefore also honours sustainable success and universal scope.

GERMANY’S TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES
GERMANY’S TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES is a project that makes lesbian, gay, bi*, trans* and inter* individuals visible in the workplace.
Since 2018, TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES has been highlighting executives who are both professionally successful and queer. They openly take a stand for equal rights for LGBT*IQ and act as role models for the LGBT*IQ community.
In 2019, the project was complemented by a list of TOP LGBT+ VOICES. As a driving force for LGBT*IQ issues, they not only take a stand for more equality for their own benefit but act as voices and representatives for their queer colleagues as well.
Similar lists already exist in the US and the UK. In Germany, GERMANY’S TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES is the first of its kind and makes “out” LGBT*IQ from the business world more visible as proud role models. For that very purpose, the UHLALA Group and the PROUT AT WORK Foundation initiated GERMANY’S TOP 100 OUT EXECUTIVES.
